Repurposed
The Repurposed series explores how we can continue to use and value ‘waste’ materials. Hand-woven works are created using industry waste yarn and handmade cordage. The cordage is made from linen warp ends leftover from previous projects and combined with linen threads leftover from the offcuts of the ‘No Away’ series (a previous project that repurposed textile offcuts from Norwich-based maker Phaedra Clothing).
Repurposed I and II were shown at Design Nation’s Our Journey showcasing excellence, diversity and sustainability in craft and practices in 2022.
