An ongoing collection of work responding to themes around our relationship with materials and the current climate emergency.
In our daily lives we are surrounded by materials through those we touch, wear and consume. But how often do we consider the materials from which these objects are made; their origins, the processes that form them, and what happens to them after we discard them?
Discarded 'emergency' toilet roll wrappers (from Who Gives A Crap) have been collected through friends, family and the Instagram community. The discarded paper wrappers have been repurposed to create work that questions our relationship with the materials surrounding us, overconsumption and the current climate emergency.
